Neon Gradient Backgrounds
Eight neon gradients: maximum-saturation color held against near-black so it glows like signage instead of shouting like a poster. Neon looks are everywhere in gaming, music, and crypto-adjacent design because they photograph as energy — and as CSS they stay razor-sharp where a JPEG of the same look would smear. Copy any of them below, or open one in the editor and push the glow around yourself.
The physics of the neon look: tiny, intense color sources on a huge dark field. Every design here keeps its bright nodes small and its base within a few percent of black — enlarge the nodes in the editor and you will watch the "neon" collapse into ordinary gradient. Small and hot is the recipe.
Practical warning: neon backgrounds fight body text. Use them behind display-size headlines, logos, and buttons rather than paragraphs, and keep one as an accent section between calmer surfaces. The grain layer matters more here than anywhere — it is what sells the glow as light rather than vector fill.
