Light Gradient Backgrounds
Eight light gradients for interfaces that live in white: barely-there washes that add depth to a page without ever competing with its content. Where our pastel set leans on candy hues, these stay closer to neutral — a lift of warmth in one corner, a cool drift in another — which makes them safe under dense text, tables, and product screenshots.
Light gradients are the hardest to photograph and the easiest to overdo. The designs here keep total color variation small and put the interest at the edges of the canvas, so the center — where your content sits — stays effectively white and fully readable with dark text.
They pair especially well with cards and modals: a light gradient page background plus flat white surfaces creates natural elevation with zero shadows. If a wash feels too subtle on your display, open it in the editor and pull one node a few percent more saturated.
