SVG Wave Divider Examples
Eight wave dividers covering the useful range of the pattern: single gentle swells for quiet section breaks, layered translucent surf for heroes, tight ripples for compact banners — in both top-facing and bottom-facing orientations. Each is a single lightweight SVG path you can copy as a CSS background or download as a file, and the Edit button opens it in the wave generator for reshaping.
The single most common wave mistake is amplitude: full-height waves read as decoration fighting the content. The dividers here keep their motion inside a modest band — enough rhythm to break the straight line between sections without stealing the scroll.
Layered waves get their depth from opacity falloff, which means they pick up the colors behind them — try one over a mesh gradient from our collections and the layers tint themselves. For solid-color pages, the two-tone examples carry their own depth without needing anything behind them.
