Dot Pattern Backgrounds
Eight dot pattern backgrounds rendered live — each card below is the actual seamless SVG tile repeating in your browser, not a screenshot. Dot grids are the quietest texture in the toolbox: at small scale and low contrast they read as engineered calm on dashboards and docs, and at larger scale they turn playful for marketing pages. Copy any of them as a single CSS rule, download the raw SVG tile, or open one in the pattern generator and tune the spacing, size, and colors yourself.
Two knobs decide how a dot grid feels: scale sets the rhythm and weight sets the volume. Tight spacing with small dots disappears into texture — the classic hero-section treatment — while wide spacing with heavier dots becomes a visible design element that can carry an empty state or a pricing section on its own.
Keep contrast between the dots and their background low on content-heavy pages; the pattern should sit a layer beneath your text, never compete with it. Every design here embeds as a data-URI, so there is no image request and no asset to host.
